How Much Does Stone Veneer Cost in Miami?
Material, labour, prep, and the line items that don't appear in most quotes until it's too late to plan around them.
By Miami Stone Veneer Specialists · Updated July 18, 2026
Nearly every stone veneer cost page online quotes a national average that's useless in Miami. Miami Stone Veneer Specialists sells this material here every week, so these are local numbers as of 2026.
The short answer
| Item | Manufactured | Natural |
|---|---|---|
| Material per sq ft | $9 – $19 | $25 – $60 |
| Installation per sq ft | $13 – $19 | $30 – $50 |
| Installed total per sq ft | $22 – $38 | $55 – $110 |
If someone quotes you $14 per square foot installed for exterior stone, they are skipping the drainage plane. That's not a bargain, it's a future insurance claim.
Material cost by collection
| Collection | Per sq ft | Notes |

| Mediterranean | $10 – $16 | Long formats cut labour |
| Royal | $10 – $17 | Wood-look plank at the top |
| Coastal | $11 – $18 | Sealer essential near salt |
| Cantera | $11 – $18 | Sandblasted face costs more |
| Rustic | $11 – $19 | Small irregulars are slow to lay |
| Chapa | $12 – $19 | Higher material, lower labour |
| 3D wall panels | $14 – $26 | Priced by relief depth |
What installation costs
$13 to $19 per square foot for manufactured stone in Miami-Dade. The spread is driven almost entirely by what's behind the wall:
- Clean block — bottom of the range. Scratch coat and go.
- Framed wall — mid. Full drainage assembly, lath, flashing.
- Existing sound stucco — mid. Lath through into structure.
- Failed stucco — top, plus $6 to $10 per sq ft to remove it.
The costs people forget
- Corner pieces. Priced per linear foot, not per square foot. Typically 10 to 15% on top of the field material. This is the single most common omission.
- Waste allowance. 10% regular, 15% irregular. Not optional — under-ordering means a second batch and a visible colour difference.
- Sealer. $1 to $2 per square foot. Skipping it near the coast is a false economy measured in years.
- Radiused pieces for columns. Substantially more per square foot. Budget columns as their own line.
- Scaffolding above one storey.
Real project budgets
| Project | Area | Installed |
|---|---|---|
| Interior feature wall | ~120 sq ft | $2,800 – $4,500 |
| Outdoor kitchen island | 60 – 110 sq ft | $1,800 – $4,000 |
| Entry / portico | 80 – 250 sq ft | $2,500 – $7,000 |
| Pool feature wall | 150 – 400 sq ft | $4,000 – $12,000 |
| Full front elevation | 800 – 1,400 sq ft | $18,000 – $40,000 |
Where to save and where not to
Save on: collection choice — a $10 stone laid well beats a $18 stone laid badly. Doing interior walls yourself. Buying material direct rather than through a contractor markup.
Never save on: the drainage plane, flashing, corner pieces, or sealer. Those four are perhaps 8% of the job and they decide whether it lasts five years or fifty.
Send a square footage and you'll get a real material number back the same day — including the corner footage most quotes leave out.
